As the old adage says, “A picture is worth a thousand words” - I have found this to be true. Pictures capture our minds and hearts in ways that neither words nor film can quite match. Good pictures present us with a still moment of time that causes us to engage our brains and storytelling faculties and also to pause and wonder about the meaning of beauty – its meaning in itself and its place in the grander story of the universe.
